Turnaround and lead tech-wholesaler into new future.<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

From crisis management to good result. Commissioned by shareholders as Non-Executive Director at De Jong Th., technical wholesaler for pumps and heating technology, I guided the process. First scaled down to restore cash flow, then refocused the teams, and separated the business into two, to sell them separately.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situation<\/em>: In 2014 both Pumps and Heating Technology business loss making. In the previous years turnover and gross margin had declined and were structurally insufficient to cover total costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge<\/em>: In order to survive, the thing to do were: to restore positive cash flow, develop new momentum in both businesses, and prepare them for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approach<\/em>: To survive immediate intervention was required. Part of the organization was scaled down. The two non-synergetic business units were then split up, brought back on track in iterations<\/a>, and sold separately in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
