From staffing company to service provider.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

As external consultant for DPA IT-Infra I supervised the newly started IT-Security unit with regard to the development of both proposition and team. To fast track developments an Information Security specialist was taken over and integrated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situation<\/em>: In 2014, the Information Security (IS) market is booming. The importance of IS for business continuity has become discussion topic in the boardroom. The IT-Infra Business Unit of staffing provider DPA has ambitions to enter the market but, being a capacity provider, questioning its positioning and go-to-market strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge<\/em>: The ambition is to take up a distinctive position in the market with the newly started IT-Security Business Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approach<\/em>: Given the attractive market development, an interesting customer portfolio from IT-infra, and the wider DPA resources, the IT-Security unit is focused on securing to the business outcomes<\/a> of customers. Based on a IT-security framework and with a consultative approach customers are enabled to evolve the maturity level of their Information Security to next levels. To further accelerate growth and development, Information Security specialist B-Able is acquired in 2014. In iterations<\/a>, team and business are guided to successive levels of readiness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
