Company sale
Preparing for, and selling of IT-Infra specialist.
Shareholders had the ambition to sell IT infrastructure specialist E-Storage. To this end I led the accelerated development of both business and organization in all relevant aspects. Resulting in a successful sale in June 2025.
Status: Organization with appealing but stable customer base within the corporate segment. Proposition, revenue model, go-to-market, and organizational model however were outdated.
Challenge: Prepare the business and organization for a profitable sale and guide the process.
Approach: Leveraging insights from the customer value model, the proposition, revenue model and go-to-market strategy were renewed: From Storage to Demonstrable Recovery, from On Premise to Cloud, and from One-off Resell to Recurring Services. Along with this, the talent-performance model was used to align individual and team capabilities with the new direction. As a result both customer base and profitability grew significantly, while providing positive outlook for both the company and its employees.

Teaming with an M&A specialist resulted in the successful sale of the company to PQR (part of the German stock market-listed Bechtle group).
